How we make money
India to Thailand is free to read. It is paid for by booking links and, in time, by partners who buy a clearly marked slot. Here is exactly how that works, so you can judge our advice for yourself.
Recommendations are never ranked by commission
Destinations, hotels, neighbourhoods and flight routes are ordered by what suits your trip. No partner can buy a higher position in our planning tools or guides.
Three kinds of link, always labelled
Editorial links earn us nothing. Affiliate links may pay us a commission if you book, at no extra cost to you. Paid placements are bought by a partner and say so on the card.
Commercial blocks sit apart from the writing
Booking links appear in a bordered block headed 'Commercial links'. They are never woven into an article as if they were advice.
We do not take money to change a fact
Visa rules, weather guidance, fare benchmarks and cost estimates carry a named source and a date we last checked them. No advertiser sees or influences them.
Fares and room rates are editorial estimates
Unless a figure is labelled live, it is our own hand-maintained estimate for planning. The partner's own site is always the price that counts.
